Drum spraying

Drum spraying is a hot-drum process used for coating small components in a closed spraying chamber (Rotamat®).

During this efficient and cost-effective process, the small parts to be coated are poured into a rotating drum, which is enclosed by a housing. One or several spray robots are used for spraying the coating material evenly on the parts, which are rolling around each other and can be made of different materials.

The coating material, which is applied with little loss, dries on the tempered parts during processing so that a visually homogeneous surface is created. After the coating process is finished, the workpieces can easily be removed from the swivel-mounted drum. No curing or finishing of the coated parts is required.

antifricor® is used by almost all major automotive manufacturers. Typical parts are hinges, door locks, door stays, door handles, adjustment systems, fittings and other fasteners.

Delta MKS® – Powerful corrosion protection with zinc flakes

Delta MKS® is a corrosion protection coating system applied with the latest coating procedures - dip spinning, dipping and fully automatic wet spraying.

The surface coating is free of chromium (VI) and the zinc flakes provide cathodic protection. Hydrogen-induced corrosion, occurring when zinc is applied with electroplating, is not an issue. Specially developed combination layers also achieve good nonstick properties and help to optimize the sliding properties of the zinc flake coating.

Zinc flake coating systems are mainly used in the automotive industry and in applications where outstanding corrosion resistance has to be combined with other functional and decorative properties. Impreglon fulfills all specifications of international car manufacturers.

TempCoat® – Wear resistant slide coatings with nonstick properties

The TempCoat® coating procedure creates polymer and fluoropolymer layers with outstanding nonstick properties and very good sliding properties.

With additional reinforcement layers, slide coatings can be combined with high wear resistance.

TempCoat® coatings can be applied on aluminum, steel, stainless steel, copper, ceramics and even plastics.

Coating thicknesses: 10 µm to 100 µm
Temperature range: -40 °C to +285 °C
Surface roughnesses (Ra): up to approx. 1.0 µm
